He was instrumental in leading Arkansas youth wrestling's transition from independent clubs to a fully sanctioned USAW state. His work has been a driving force behind the growth of youth wrestling in Arkansas, contributing to increased Freestyle and Greco participation. Robert received his award at the 2025 Fargo National Championship from wrestling legend Bruce Baumgartner
